Schools in Kashmir Valley Likely to Get 10-Day Summer Break from July 8th

Srinagar,30 June: Schools in Kashmir Valley are likely to receive a 10-day summer break starting from July 8th a senior official said.

“The summer break will commence on July 8th due to the IMD’s forecast of rainfall until July 7th,” said Alok Kumar, Principal Secretary of Government, School Education Department.

The announcement come s after a recent rise in temperature jn the Kahsmir valley. However, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) now predicts wet weather for the coming week, prompting the decision for a delayed summer break.
