Budgam, Dec 2: Two laborers from Bihar lost their lives, while another sustained multiple injuries after a wall collapsed in the Ichgam area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Monday. The trio was working when the wall suddenly came crashing down, trapping them underneath.
The trio was rushed to the District Hospital Budgam where doctors declared two among them brought dead. The injured labour identified as Satinder Paswan was shifted to the Bone and Joint Hospital Barzulla, Srinagar, for further treatment.
The Medical Superintendent of District Hospital Budgam confirmed to KNT that two of the laborers were brought dead, while the third one was referred to Bone and Joint Hospital for treatment.
He identified the deceased as, Bachan Lal Paswan and Kasturi Lal Paswan, both residents of Bihar.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and registered a case under relevant sections of law. [KNT]
