Sumbal,14 June: The Late Wani Bilal Memorial Cricket Tournament in Naidkhai, Kashmir, concluded with a thrilling finale on Friday afternoon.
Syed Kamaldin Bukhari Cricket Club (SKB Naidkhai) emerged victorious in the championship match, defeating Uqaab Warriors Ganderbal by a convincing margin of 106 runs.
The tournament was organized by the Sports Association Naidkhai, the tournament culminated in an exciting final encounter SKB Naidkhai displayed exceptional skills, clinching the title with a dominant performance.
Suhail Ahmad Mir from SKB Naidkhai emerged as the star of the match, bagging the Man of the Match award for his all-round brilliance. Mir impressed with both his batting, scoring a brilliant 86 runs, and bowling, taking two crucial wickets.
Bilal Sofi of SKB Naidkhai was another standout player throughout the tournament, receiving the Man of the Series award for his consistent excellence.
The grand finale was graced by the presence of esteemed guests, including Gulzar Ahmad from the Sports Council and Irshad, the Sports Incharge of Bandipora along with other dignitaries, witnessed a spectacular display of cricket that enthralled the audience.
A large crowd of spectators thronged the sports ground in Naidkhai, creating a vibrant atmosphere for the culmination of the tournament, and their enthusiastic cheers echoed throughout the match, making it a memorable event.
