Srinagar, 17-Apr: Kashmiri Pandits celebrated Ram Navami, the Hindu festival marking the birth of Lord Rama, with a religious procession in Srinagar on Wednesday.
The procession, also known as a Shobha Yatra, passed through various areas of the city, including Lal Chowk, amidst tight security arrangements.
The procession marked a hopeful sign for the Kashmiri Pandit community, which has faced displacement and violence in recent decades. It also served as a symbol of religious tolerance and coexistence in Kashmir.
