Bandipora, 15-Apr;The government middle school in Kralpora village of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district is painting a grim picture of the education sector in Kashmir, as the school has just two classrooms for the students of eight classes.
Locals while speaking with the media said that the school has only three rooms available among which one has been designated for official work purposes at the school,only two rooms are available to accommodate eight classes.
“We have to take our classes in open air,it becomes tough for us on rainy days,it affects our study,we demand to construct more classrooms for our school”,Aamina, a 6th standard student said.
The students are struggling to concentrate in such an environment, and the quality of education has taken a significant hit.Parents are also expressing their dissatisfaction with the situation.
Many believe that their children’s education is being severely compromised, and are demanding that the government takes immediate action to address this issue.
The lack of resources and infrastructure in government schools is a recurring issue across Bandipora district. It is essential that the government takes proactive measures to improve the quality of education in these schools.
The students,parents appealed to concerned authorities to look into the matter and resolve their genuine grievances as soon as possible.
When contacted Chief Education Officer CEO Bandipora Dr. GM Paju over the issue, he said that the issue came to his notice two days ago and he would visit there and assured that the problems of the students would be resolved. Some measures will be taken in the shortest possible time to reduce it.
